Oto is a browser-based DJ controller and music mixing tool. It runs in your web browser and processes audio locally on your device. Some features optionally connect to external services (authentication, cloud storage, AI processing).
Oto's core is free to use. You don't need an account to direct a set or use the DJ controller — just open the app and start. An account (email sign-up or Google sign-in) enables additional features like cloud sync and mix sharing. Some advanced features are part of an optional paid subscription (see Payments below).
You retain all rights to your music, mixes, and any content you create with Oto. We don't claim ownership of anything you produce. When you share a mix publicly, you're granting other users permission to listen to it through Oto's sharing features.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any music you load into Oto. We don't monitor, review, or police the audio content processed through the application.

Oto is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or that your data will never be lost. Audio processing runs locally in your browser — performance depends on your device and browser.
We recommend keeping backups of any important recordings or set plans outside of the application.
Oto's core features are free. Oto Pro is an optional subscription ($8/month) that unlocks advanced features — including expanded AI set-planning usage, four-deck mode, cloud HD stem separation, and the advanced FX rack. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details.
Pro is billed monthly and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal, and your Pro access continues through the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't provide refunds for partial billing periods. Promotional codes may grant Pro access for a limited time or number of uses.
We may change pricing or the features included in a plan as the product evolves; material changes will be noted on the website and won't affect a billing period you've already paid for.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Significant changes will be noted on the website. Continued use of Oto after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Oto's source code is available on GitHub under the MIT License. This means you can view, fork, modify, and redistribute the code. These Terms of Service govern your use of the hosted version at useoto.io.
